We just got back from Breckenridge, Colorado. I’ve spent the past week snowboarding… well, I guess I should say… trying to snowboard!
I really started to get the hang of it and started cruising down the slopes our last day… go figure!
Snowboarding is a REAL workout! I could barely walk after our first day on the slopes! I guess I should have actually tried to workout before I went on the trip!
Anyhow, Colorado is such a beautiful place… all the mountains covered in snow. Everywhere I looked was like a picture on a postcard. I would move there in a heartbeat if I could. How about you? If you could move any place in the U.S where would it be? Why?
Here’s a few of the pictures we took in Beaver Creek, Colorado. Our hiking trip was a blast and the town is amazing! There was still a little snow on the ground and the trees are beautiful this time of year. Our last day it took us six hours to get to the top of the mountain. I was exhausted, but it was well worth it!
On the way up we saw dozens of deer grazing, mountain lion tracks (that’s what are guide said they were) and no bear sightings, but we did see claw marks on a tree where a bear had crawled up it.�
Hey Folks! Posting this morning from Beaver Creek, Colorado. Just wanted to give you a heads up I’ll be out of pocket for a few days. I made it on a 4 mile hike yesterday… tomorrow we’re going on a LONG guided hike! Wish me luck! This place is beautiful. Stop by this weekend and I’ll post some pictures.

I’ve been counting down to this day for a few weeks and it’s finally here! I’m headed to the beach for six days. I’m sitting in the Memphis airport waiting to catch my next plane… we have a two hour layover. But that’s okay; I’m smiling from ear to ear… knowing I’ll be in the beautiful white sand in just a few hours!
I’m sure I’ll post a time or two as I’m soaking up some rays!

So we’ve had a couple days of nice weather and we’re getting closer and closer to summertime. I don’t know about you but I’m itching to go on a summer vacation. I’m actually starting to have dreams of laying on the beach sipping on a pina coloda! I know, I’m weird but seriously, we’re planning a beach trip and our annual houseboat trip. The summer just can’t come soon enough! I’m counting the days! What about you? Any vacations in the works? �
