Looking for a good movie??
Hey Folks! I know, I know it’s been a LONG time since I posted! My apologies!
I wanted to share with you one of the best movies I’ve seen in a long time. My mom and I watched “The Blind Side” the other night. It was a great flick!
I’m sure you all know the story line, but for those of you who don’t…. it’s based on a true story and is about the life of Michael Oher, a homeless youngster who was taken in by a well-to-do family who helped him fullfil his potential.
In my opinion it was one of Sandra Bullocks best performances and Tim McGraw also did a fine job! I give this movie a 10!
Thoughts on “The Blind Side”? Seen any other good movies lately?
First off….Holy Cow !!!! Its been a long time since you have posted something.
Yes, Blind Side was a really good movie….I asked our school district to let our football team out to go watch it, but they shot me down.

It looks like you are just not into blogging. In fact, Gerry is the only one at KTBS who seems to really enjoy it.
I have seen a movie recently that I considered to be very good. I read about it, and then ordered it from netflix. “Ossessione” by Italian director Visconti, made in 1943. It is B&W, and you have to read subtitles unless you understand Italian. It is based on the “The Postman Always Rings Twice” story. Visconti could not afford to buy the rights to the book, but you can recognize the story even though it is set in Italy. I liked the original 1946 “Postman”, but not the remake. This movie is even better.

Briana: I think I’ve just been spending all my extra time on FB!!! Sounds like an interesting movie. Not sure if I would have enough patience to read subtitle though!!

I saw The Blind Side and Avatar. Both good movies, but no movie can top Wall-E.
