Can we say rude!

First I must apologize for not posting in a while! I’ve been out of town for the past two weekends blah, blah! excuses, excuses!

Anyway, this weekend we visited some family members in Savannah, Georgia (it was absolutely beautiful, we’ll talk about that in another post). On my way back… on my flight from Jacksonville to Houston I had the rudest flight attendent.

I must say flight attendents have always been the nicest and most kind folks I have ever met and ALWAYS, ALWAYS friendly.  Not this guy! He had a chip on his shoulder and wasn’t happy to be at work.

Long story short when he was picking up our airplane snack leftovers for the trash… he spilled the stuff all over me (accidents happen… I wouldn’t have minded that), but this guy NEVER said I’m sorry or even tried to help us. Moments later I tapped him on the back to throw something else away and he snapped at me. What happened to customer service?  I’ll be giving his boss a call tomorrow!

Any good or bad experiences on a flight?

  4. Be careful Claude…I insinuated that Chrissi had a double-chin a few blogs back (I think it had to do with driver’s license pics); and MOM threatened ME with baseboard washing…LOL!!

Coming off of vacation, I’m sure she probably just indulged in one of her “Lunch Adventures” at “The Lady and Sons” restaurant in Savannah. You’ve got to watch out for Paula Deen…she loves to use a lot of ‘buttah’ in her cookin’!!…lol!!

On to the subject at hand. The one thing that really caught my eye in THIS blog Chrissi is the part where you stated:…”I tapped him on the back to throw something else away and he SNAPPED at me.” So what did the walking *&#@# with ears actually say?? Did you get really PO’d or did your lil’ bottom lip quiver??? Either way, you should’ve pulled a Robert De Niro: “You talkin’ to me…You talkin’ to me. You tryin’ to be a wiseguy or something. I tell you what. When this plane lands in Houston, I’ll meet YOU in the terminal and we’ll take this issue to another level and deal with it!!” (remember you have to use a deep Italian accent when delivering these lines). If done right, you probably would’ve caused him to wet his pants…lol!! OR, you could just simply say: “O.k., now I’m really mad….Patrick, slug him!!” (and then take cover..lol). I can read the leading story now: KTBS personality and fiance married in a private ceremony at the Harris County jail…refreshments were watered-down tea and bologna sandwiches. All guests were thoroughly searched before attending.

The closest thing to a bad experience on a flight for me was having to substitute Sprite for 7-UP with my Crown Royal…and listening to this first-timer sitting just ahead of me chatting with the stewardess about whether or not she ever thought about the plane crashing!!

  5. Badabing!! You’re too funny!! I wanted to say something to him but I know how it is on flights… I didn’t want them to stop the plane due to an unruly passenger!! So I just sat there with my bottom lip quivering!
Claude: OMG! No.But I am going to head to the gym right now after reading your comment! lol!

  7. I thought I was the nicest and kindest person you’ve ever met! (sigh) Now my heart’s broken :(. I’m going on my first plane trip later this year (probably) so I’ll get back with you on that.

  8. Hi Chrissi, I had a great experience on a flight from Amsterdam, Holland back to Houston. The flight attendent was super nice and when she found out that I was coming back from Iraq she gave me little bottles of whiskey from Holland with the airline logo on them. She even had drinks with me at the airport after we landed.
