A Caged Naked Women in Shreveport!
This afternoon if you were in Downtown Shreveport you probably saw or heard about this caged naked woman who was protesting the arrival of the Ringling Bros. & Barnum and Bailey Circus in Shreveport. Wearing nothing but painted on tiger strips the woman held a sign saying “wild animals don’t belong behind bars.” PETA says elephants and other animals are kept in shackles and tiny cages and beaten in order to force them to perform confusing and physically challenging tricks.

Is this a way to get a point across? Will you still be attending the circus??
Thoughts??

incredible.
although, she does seem to have a thong … and some kitty ears. So, necessarily, she isn’t naked.
But, man, she’s definitely making a point.
I never really thought the animals at the circus were abused. in actuality, in the wild, the face some pretty narly threats on their own. When the circus came to Lake Charles, it was my experience that the circus crews truly cared for the animals. You should have seen the money and extra precautions they took when the hurricanes were coming. Of course, they were protecting their “investments” or “money maker.” But, the did protect the animals and take great care of them.
But, I’m definitely, DEFINITELY, not for animal abuse. I don’t go to the Rodeo because it truly seems like the animals are frightened and getting hurt… but circus animals look so happy.

Not really getting it… Think its more of a ploy to get people to notice Peta than it is to get people to not go to the circus. Peta is known for it’s antics almost more so than the fact that they are for animal rights. Seeing an idiot naked on the streets in the cool weather doesn’t make me not want to go the circus, it makes me want to give her a coat and a bus ticket home.

I agree with this girl. What a bold way to make a statement! The circus is EVIL.
