How ’bout dem TIGERS!! Did any of you watch the LSU Tigers take on UC Irvine last night? Whata game! There were back- to- back- to- back home runs hit in the first inning. The final score was 21-7. Next stop for the Tigers…. Omaha, Nebraska. Good Luck guys!

I think this deserves a chant: G-E-A-U-X– Go, Tigers, Go! G-E-A-U-X– Go, Tigers, Go!

BTW, my Ragin Cajuns made it to the College World Series in 2000… just in case you were wondering!

  2. I would have to say baseball is one of my favorite sports.
I remember in college me and my girlfriends would go to all the baseball games. We didn’t pay a whole lot of attention to the game… but did leave with a good sun tan!

Oh, and I can’t forget to mention in middle school… my mom dropping me and my friend Christina off at Tinsley ballpark once a week to watch our latest crush play ball! Those were the good ole days!

  3. Even if you are not a baseball fan….the game on Sunday afternoon was GREAT!!!!! I love LSU and I love baseball, but that was just an overall great game.

Chrissi in case your wondering —My SFA Lumberjacks haven’t won more than 20 games in a season…They are just on thier 3rd years back from not even having a team. Ax’em JACKS

Chrissi…. Ever been a cheerleader in high school?

  5. Justin: SFA may not have a good baseball team.. but they’re cheerleaders are awesome. They win nationals every year. In high school I wanted to go to SFA because they had such a great squad. Real mature, right!

Misty Lane: Ha! How did you guess? I guess, I’ve cheered from the sidelines one to many times at high school in college games!!

  6. I didn’t get to watch last nights game…but Sundays game was the best, sure didn’t think they were going to be able to come back and win !!! Even though I spent LOTS of money with ULL Ragin Cajun’s, I’m proud of our “Louisiana” - Tigers !

  9. Rather go to Tech than ULL

    Comment by Coach | June 10, 2008

  10. Coach: That’s just wrong. Your head must have been buried in the books all the time in college.
‘Cause if you ever went to Ruston then to Lafayette there’s no comparison which one is a better college (I’m talking about nightlife and sports!)
I mean comeon we had the Keg on the Strip!!!

  11. Ahhh, but Chrissi my friend. Coach is right. Ruston was rockin’. You just had to know where to go. And I can assure you my head wasn’t buried in the books all those years! :)

  12. HOW ABOUT THEM SOONERS!!!!!!!

    Comment by Safrona | June 10, 2008

  13. Ya’ll can talk about Tech and ULL all you want –Our sports may not be the best, but we can throw a party like no other!!!! SFA can hang with the best of them in the night life area.

Chrissi — Me and a bunch of buddies went to Nationals with the Cheerleaders in 03 just to give us something to do….I love Fat Tuesday down there!!!!

    Comment by Justin | June 11, 2008

  14. Oh Sonjya: I spent plenty of time in Ruston in my younger days. However, I don’t know how it holds up compared to Lafayette!

    Safrona: Sooners? Who’s that? Jk!!

Justin: Must say I’ve never been to SFA but I had a friend who went to school there and would come to Shreveport to go to the casinos. I think he did more partying than studying!
Did you guys go to Nationals in Daytona (NCA) or Orlando (UCA)?
